DR. SANTOS ANNOUNCES SOLO PROJECT AND DEBUT SINGLE

Luís Santos, formerly a member of All We Are, announces his solo project Dr. Santos alongside his debut single “Berimbau (an Invocation),” out May 27 on all major streaming platforms.

A cinematic and tropical take on MPB, Funk and Soul, “Berimbau (An Invocation)” marks a bold departure from his previous project. With Dr. Santos, Luís tackles themes of transforming love, intimacy, self-reflection and identity, offering listeners a deeper glimpse into his evolving artistic identity.

“Dr. Santos is an alter-ego, a way to heal and explore deep feelings, whether in the past or future. The song Berimbau is an invocation of things to come, both a calling for a lover and a need to reconnect with my Brazilian heritage, which was at times neglected during my musical career,” says Luís.

Prior to this release, Luís Santos was part of the band All We Are, who released 3 records on Domino Records/Double Six, achieving millions of plays on Spotify, shows at Glastonbury’s Park Stage, tours with Jungle, London Grammar, Kae Tempest, and music featured on TV shows The Walking Dead and Lucifer.

The single was co-produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Joe Wills (Stealing Sheep, Mikhael Paskalev).
